"The Hey Hotel is the perfect example of minimalist design that works. The rooms are appointed with a series of cubbies which at first give them the appearance of being sparse. Not so. Those cubbies kept us so organized during our 5 day stay. The bed is comfortable and shower was great. The breakfast options were generous and delicious. Fresh bread, cheese, cold cuts, pastries, cereal, yogurt and pancakes were some of the options along with bacon, beans,and potatoes. Fresh made eggs available on request. The real star of the Hey Hotel for us however was the helpful front desk crew. So friendly and always on hand for conversation about where to hike and what to do. I would give this place 6 stars if I could."
