「Friendly check in - had already been sent online registration form so very smooth. Room clean and nicely furnished and bathroom obviously recently fitted. Hadn't intended to eat in the restaurant but having ventured into Workington and been unable to find anything inviting, we were squeezed in even though it was a busy Friday evening. Glad we did as the food was very good. Only negative of the stay was the road noise but that was the compromise for getting a lovely mountain view.」
