「Be sure to pay attention to the check-in message. Numerous guests missed that step and were milling outside when we got there. checking in to get your code on the app just wasn’t working. Couldn’t get our room until staff showed up to open the restaurant around 5:30. Beautiful, charming place with incredible views, food was great. Driving up the steep roads was challenging. They need to fix the app though, it doesn’t work on an iPhone well.」

「Hotel Puerta de Nerja was perfect for our stay! Ideally located, beautifully maintained, and very well managed. The room was spacious and comfortable, with an amazing bathroom and an excellent bed. Despite the local festival taking place during our visit, outside noise was barely noticeable at night, allowing us to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. The only minor downside was that our room was on the first floor, right next to reception and the lift, so we could occasionally hear noise from other...

「Lovely renovated room where everything was clean and looked new! Huge balcony over looking the pool which was also fab and we had it to ourselves most of the time, balcony gets the sun until sunset where you can watch the sun go down, there is a steep hill and lots of steps so can be tiring walking up and down, we found the coastal path to the old town which took about 20 mins to get to, the beach was beautiful and not too busy and it’s a 5 minute walk down hill, a bit longer coming back! On our...

「The rooms are clean, but a little tired. Air con in my room was old and noisy, the other room we had it was more modern. The banging of other guests doors reverberate throughout the building which could be a problem if you are a light sleeper. Anna on reception is very helpful and friendly. The location is pretty good with a 6 minute walk to the heart of the town. The canteen is just about ok, decent coffee, but the breakfast are not up to much, and the canteen is very noisy with lots of...
