"We stayed at Hotel Busby for four nights and overall had a very good experience.
The front desk staff were the highlight of our stay. They were consistently friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. They arranged transportation, made drinks at the lobby bar, gave excellent restaurant recommendations, made check-in easy, and always had beach towels ready. Their customer service was exceptional.
The location is also excellent. It’s within walking distance of the train station and tram, making it easy to explore Nice, Monaco, and the surrounding area. Our room had four single beds, a refrigerator, and a lovely terrace.
Housekeeping was inconsistent. Our room wasn’t serviced for the first two days, and later visits included fresh towels but limited cleaning. It wasn’t a major issue, but more consistent service would have been appreciated.
The breakfast buffet had a good selection, including made-to-order omelets, pancakes, fresh fruit, pastries, coffee, meats, cheeses, yogurts, and cereals. The only downside was the breakfast room attendant, who made the atmosphere feel uncomfortable by closely monitoring guests. Although we had paid for four breakfasts and only two of us were eating, I was stopped for taking one croissant to my child upstairs. I understand the policy, but it felt unnecessarily strict, especially since other guests appeared to leave with pastries or coffee.
Overall, I’d happily recommend Hotel Busby for its wonderful staff, excellent location."
