「We stayed in the Welty House section of the property. It was odd in that there was no parlor or common room to sit in. The room was ok. Nothing too special but it had an attached sitting room with more space & a large bathroom. Odd again was the balcony off the bathroom. We couldn’t find a glass or plastic cup anywhere for a drink of water…or even a complimentary bottled water. One advantage was in the heart of the historic district. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better.」

Very nice welcome from staff - we got there a bit late in afternoon or early evening after excessive traffic coming from Philadelphia - both rush hour and construction.
