「I stayed two night's at the Russell Hotel. Absolutely no complaints, staff were approachable, friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable accommodation. The building itself is old and quaint, within easy walking distance from the town centre. My room was at the very top of the building, my stay was during a heatwave, the hotel doesn't have aircon so the room was very hot, so sleep was difficult. 「Lovely old pub, nice friendly staff. We booked the large double which was extremely comfortable, great pillows. The only let down was the cold, it was freezing. Heating wasn't working. This wouldn't put me off staying again, as it's a really nice place」

「The hotel was in an excellent location. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It was a little bit cheap and cheerful, but you get what you pay for. I wasn't execting the Ritz. For the price that I paid, I was really happy with the service and comfort of the room.」

「It's quite good for my stay. I stayed in a room in the top floor. The staircase is a bit narrow, so you will find it more convenient if you don't have a big suitcase. The location is great. It's close to attractions in Brighton. I parked my car in the main street and just walked to the attractions.」
