「I was amazed by the service of a gentleman called Dave. I drove from London to attend a wedding and was going to spent 2 nights at this hotel. I got delayed by roadworks on A406 and M3. I called to ask whether my son could access my room. He had driven in 3 hours earlier with my sister. Dave kindly obliged and I really appreciated that. In addition he was very gracious and kind whe we finally arrived after midnight. The hotel was more than satisfactory for what we required. Parking was adequate....

「Lovely characterful country house set in the beautiful South Downs National Park, but within easy reach of many other places of interest. Car needed to take full advantage of the location. Owners and staff very welcoming and bedroom comfortable (superior double room). Good breakfast served and a choice of pubs for evening meal within easy reach (by car)」

「Lovely stay at the inn. Was a late booking to break up the journey but the staff were welcoming and the accomadation was perfect. The pub is obviously very popular but the accomadation is set back and there was no noise despite it being a busy Friday night」

「 Alovely lovely place to stay and we Will stay again ,loved that the floors are wonky but what do do expect just full of character loved it . A heads up my partner is 6ft the shower was a little on the small size .. the room was slightly smaller than we expected . 「We’ve booked one night here at first, then we decided to go there one day before and booked one more day. We told the reception lady when we arrived check in, she said it’s ok, no need to do the check in again and we could stay in the same room. The next day at ten mins before ten, a housekeeper locked on our door and told us to check out. We’re surprised and told her our case, she told us to check with the reception.
