「The room was comfortable and the grounds were very pleasant. The walls are thin so we could hear a lot of noise from the children in the next room one night. We had an enjoyable meal on New Year's Eve but we were not told until the day that everything would be closed (apart from breakfast) on New years day! We had the most heavenly massage, really recommended. We loved the animals and the 'farm to fork' ethos and local produce. 」

「Good location, 5 minutes walk from train station. Friendly staffs. Spacious room and bathroom, facilities inside are new and clean. Room with balcony river view is highly recommended.」

「La Villa Balat a beaucoup de charme, située le long et avec vue sur la Meuse et la Citadelle. Parking public aisé à proximité immédiat. Accueil très sympathique dans le petit salon qui sert aussi de bar ouvert et de bibliothèque bien fournie. Petit-déjeuner plantureux, très varié, avec des produits locaux de première fraicheur.」

「Lovely location, with nice grounds and the older part of the complex is spectacular. The newer part provided a spacious suite of rooms with kitchenette and dual aspect living room (it forms two sides of a quadrangle), for our family. Being in the roof meant that the window sills were low and these open fully, not an issue with older children. Breakfast is available in the older part of the complex, the coffee beans are locally roasted and resultant coffee delicious. Our Host was an encyclopaedia...
