「Over and above what is usually expected from a hostel. A hotel feel with in room kitchenette, towels provided, private outside space (our room had a terrace, others have balconies), air conditioning, good quality beds and bedding. Amenity spaces were well designed, clean and comfortable. Staff were the most friendly we experienced and offered advice tailored to our short stay. Lots of little touches that went a long way. Couldn’t be happier.」

「Of you’re every in Brisbane, this is the place to stay. The attention to detail in maintaining its heritage character was wonderful. The large well appointed room and bathroom was appreciated. Five minutes down the hill to restaurants and a further five minutes to the botanical gardens made this a very accessible location. Loved our one night stay there. 」

「Firstly, the check-in experience was very bad, the pictures didn't match the actual room and the room smelled strongly of bad perfume; secondly, my deposit still hasn't been refunded from the time I ended my order; thirdly, I paid for two days' parking but I wasn't refunded for the second day's parking. I booked a total of two days but on the first day of my stay I asked the front desk for a refund for the second day. The receptionist that night was for a lady and she was very nice in resolving...

「Even the apartment is old but clean . The reception lady is very friendly. (1) the washing machine need to be cleaned up after the guests check out each time . (2) the oven is better to have a clear label so the guests know how to use ! 」

「Excellent location — within walking distance to Queen Street and the Botanic Gardens. Even crossing the bridge to the Queensland Museum and GOMA is easily doable on foot. The room we stayed in was equipped with a washing machine and a small kitchenette. With a supermarket right next to the hotel, it made family travel much more convenient, allowing us to enjoy healthy home-style meals without needing to eat out all the time.」
