"The only good thing about this hotel was the view from the window. No showered curtain & no hand soap in bathroom. Decided to have a meal in restaurant, very poor evening meal, , the lasagne was still cold possibly frozen. The hotel & meal extremely overpriced. Will not stay again."

"Although part of the hotel was being refurbished it didn't affect our stay. The room was ideal for our short stay, the breakfasts were very good with no delays on being served and the staff were very helpful at all times. Definitely use the Nevis Bank again when we travel to the West of Scotland."

"Food was amazing. Staff was exemplary. The grounds, location and view out the window was unparalleled. But… Horrible climb to third floor with rickety stairs and zero elevator… very difficult with luggage and a baby. Spiders in room. Bathroom FLOOR was covered in what seemed like wallpaper… was wet the entire time and unsanitary. Bathroom tub plug was broken and wouldn’t drain. Housekeeping did not come to our room and we ran out of toilet paper twice in two days in the family room. Staff are overworked trying to manage both pub and formal restaurants every night. Meant long wait times to be seated and served. But the staff absolutely did their best and were fantastic. Could be a wonderful place, really needs some updates. Fish was delicious, but one was undercooked. Mom and baby in our party got sick from it."
