The location was great. It is located in walking distance to the beach, had parking in front and close to Sanibel Island. We didn't have time to take advantage of the kayaks, grills in the back, or bicycles, but these were great offerings. It had what we needed. Overall a lot of offerings for a decent price.

The pics on orbitz should be updated because they don’t match reality. I was worried that it would be basic and not very clean. I was pleasantly surprised!! A little old, but clean and met our needs!! The walk to the beach is the real winner! Also, it’s far enough down the island to be past the traffic! The pool is also beautiful with comfy chairs!! An excellent place to stay!!

Perfect Location- South End Fort Myers Beach

WOW we loved our little “staycation”. We live in Fort Myers and love the South End of Fort Myers Beach because we can actually get there without waiting in TONS of traffic. I’m so glad I found this Hotel on Hotels.com because we’ll definitely be back. They have a nice heated pool and the beach was right across the street. Didn’t look into the details but you could bring your boat because they have a dock.

The damaged dolphin!

The rooms are small, bathroom as well, air conditioning hardly worked, no one available at front desk ever to talk to, beach chairs beat up! Patio pavers loose and dangerous!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Dolphin Inn Resort. Room was clean and comfortable. Brett and Jefferson were very professional and friendly. Will definitely stay here again. The property is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and grocery store.

Loved it! The place was clean and remodeled. It had contactless check-in which was easy and convenient. We loved having a full kitchen and the place was much bigger than expected. The pool was nice and the beautiful beach was a quick walk across the street! The staff was very friendly and there was even a sweet cat there to greet us every morning. There were bikes and kayaks for guests to use. The location is awesome- on the quiet side but a quick walk to CVS and a few restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Little hiccup checking in as the office was Closed at 4 for our check in and it took 20 minutes and the assistance of another employee to get ahold of someone-after that everything was smooth and the property was so nice!! Cleaning ladies were super nice :) will definitely stay here again-one of those places you wish you would’ve known about sooner!

The room was very very dirty we left after one day our booking was longer when we saw cockroaches we decided to leave immediately disappointing stay knifes spoons fork to dirty to touch. Anyway very unfortunate and a waste of the payment in advance

Not Exactly Inviting!

Layout was a bit of a hodgepodge. Those using beds in alcove and LR have to walk through the bedroom to get to the BR. 2 towel bars broken. 2 working. BR TV had no cable box. therefore, unusable. LR TV difficult to use. Not much free. 1st use of microwave it sputtered & went on fire inside. Ambience lacking warmth. Beds O.K.

This was a cost conscious alternative for those looking to vacation on Fort Myers Beach. The unit was clean and updated. Only downside is that it is a bit small for an extended stay, but it packs a lot in.
