Stayed here for 3 nights during Mother’s Day weekend with my sister. Pros: convenient location with places to eat within a two minutes, able to walk across the street to the beach, clean and safe resort, friendly staff. Cons: bathroom was very small, shower only has half a glass wall allowing water to leak out all over the floor and then you’re left with soaking wet towels on the floor all day, housekeeping only comes if you request them before 12 PM on the day, the pillows are extremely uncomfortable, the towels are scratchy, the tv guide is impossible to get to so you just have to scroll through every channel, the air conditioning can only be turned on or off instead of setting it to a specific temperature, and the pool is actually quite small. Breakfast at the Pizza Grill was great and lunch/dinner at the Parrot Lounge was fantastic. The resort was okay for a one time visit. I wouldn’t go back.

There wasn't really anything to dislike about the property. It is in the perfect location which was right across from the beach and close to restaurants, parks etc. The staff was very helpful and pleasant.

We wanted to relax after our cruise for a few days on the beach. This was relaxing. It was a great location. Price was reasonable. Our room had an amazing view. The carpet was worn and pulling away at the doorways in rooms. There was still some crumbs and debris on the floor in our room but otherwise in clean condition. Bed was comfortable. Complimentary coffee was okay but being free I didn't expect it to be great. The fitness center was adequate my spouse and I are both into working out and it was okay with some adjustments to our usual routines. There was a restaurant available that we didn't eat at but we did get free mimosas at the bar and they were good. All in all I would recommend this as a good place to stay for the value. The TV was a challenge as the first night it didn't allow what was on the channels but the staff fixed it. No movies available just TV so if you want that bring your own device to watch.

We asked ahead of time for a room with a view and we got one of the corner rooms with a double picture windows so it was a beautiful view. The room was clean. The bathrooms are fairly small and it does seem to be an older property but well kept.. We did not eat in the restaurant but it did look good.. The staff was very friendly especially Evelyn at the front desk. It was nice to have a designated section at the beach and towels and beach chairs were provided free of charge.

Very helpful front desk staff. Clean rooms. Our room was by the stairs and the electrical room. There was a very loud humming noise but we were too tired to move. We have a very rude and unhappy waitress in the dining room for breakfast and tried not to let it spoil the rest of our stay but it did set our day off on a bad start. Overall the hotel was nice. 👍 We would definitely stay there again and refer them to family and friends.

Fantastic interaction with the front desk team, especially Arsay, who went above and beyond to help as our guaranteed room was strangely unavailable. Arsay stepped up, got us into a comparable room realizing it was the Hotel's fault for our room not being ready by the agreed upon 4p time (disconcening fyi, so I hope you fix that process of getting your new customers into their room and not double booking an extended reservation so you can make more money). Only Arsay helped saved the day.

The total bill was $1,100.00 for 2 nights. The internet said each night was $244.00. There were so, so, so many hidden charges it was ridiculous. I will not return there again.

This was a great stay for us! The Sonesta is clean and beautiful, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We liked the quiet area, with a three minute walk to the water taxi, electric bike rental on property and the stunning Bonnet House museum and gardens right next door! There is a state park on the other side and the beach across the street. There are stores and great restaurants within walking distance.

Overall check in was super easy. Hotel is literally across from the beach which is convenient. They do give 2 free daily chairs with the resort fee. Was annoying umbrella was extra but not unreasonably priced.

We loved staying at this hotel and the front desk staff was incredible - they were so friendly and caring to our dog, Gus and always gave him treats when they saw him. The two young ladies (one who was always wearing colorful and amazing jackets) was so great. We really enjoyed our stay here and can't wait to come back!

Many restaurants around Hotel within a few minutes walk. Shenoya Thomas assistant manager front office is super friendly, helpful, and provides great customer service. It was a pleasure to meet her. Nathan was very helpful to set up my TV. I recommend a shower curtain for the shower to prevent water splashing out
