Pool and hot tub was great for relaxing. Staff was very friendly. We stayed 1 night.to go to a Panther Hockey game. Great location!

Despite hotel's excellent location, lobby had a very refreshing smell, however upon exiting elevator until 5th floor, a strong freshlike wet carpet odor was noticeable for the entire duration of my stay (May 9-13, 2024). Very nauseating at times. Also room 516, the air conditioning kept coming on and off and sounded like a helicopter

We appreciate the feedback and are sorry to see that the fresh scent of the carpet cleaning was not to your liking. We did have signage at the front desk and a letter in the rooms alerting our guests of the carpet cleaning.

The hotel has very noisy plumbing, surprising for a new build hotel! We had to change rooms because of this, but also had exceptionally noisy, drunken neighbours, making my wife feel quite unsafe. We would not recommend this hotel.

I left out of my room around 2:30 p.m. and took the do not disturb sign off. When I returned to my room late at night, my room was not cleaned. I didn't bother to contact front desk because it was late, and I was too tired.

The property was very nice but checking in was terrible. The young woman checking is in was extremely rude and had did not want to help us in any way. I has very taken back with why she was so unkind.

I enjoyed my stay. I feel safe at this property. Only issue was the cleaning staff did not remove used coffee pod from machine and did not top up coffee supplies during my three night stay.

I requested a higher level room starting from the 3rd floor up. They put me on the 2nd floor. The bartender at the restaurant needs to work on his people/ customer skills,first off he makes no eye contact, second after I felt not welcomed and wanted to pay my tab, I called him he said wait, then 10 minutes later he approached me and said " what do you want ' I said what do I want? I want to leave but first I want to pay for the "One" drink I had.

Thank you for the feedback Jose. We understand that guest have requests and we try our best to honor all of them. However, at times, like your stay, we were unable to meet the request for a high floor due to availability and occupancy. Hotels guarantee a room type and that is it for this very reason. As for the bartender, we get raving reviews, daily about the two bartenders with several long term guests or repeat guests returning just for their service. We are sorry to see that this was not the perception you had.

This is my third time staying at this property. First time was in 2019, pre Covid. I had a great time, zero complaints. Second time was April 2023, I noticed a drastic change in the staff and property amenities but decided not to let it ruin my time. Fast forward to April 2024, I just returned from my stay here and I absolutely will not return. Whilst the location is perfect for shopping at sawgrass, the facilities are deplorable and the service from staff is inconsistent. The scent inside the room was HORRIBLE, the plumbing inside the shower was non existent and the cleaning done by the housekeeper left a lot to be desired. My only pleasant experience was the nice young lady that checked my mom and I in (Keiana) and the super convenient Freebie usage. The lady at the front desk that checked us out this morning was super rude( shouting across us to her coworker) and giving attitude when questions were asked. Unfortunately the convenience is not enough for me to return. Very disappointed

Perfect location if you’re going to the hockey rink. Free parking is a bonus you don’t often get that in Florida. 25 minute walk roughly, there’s a free shuttle service around town they’ll show you how to download the app at the front desk. Bartender was great to chat with and same with the girls at the front desk. If I’m down for a sports event again I will be back. Thanks.

The best check in I have had in a long time. I was made feel like a guest. Made very welcome and the treatment was as it should be, the lady and I mean Lady, at the front desk was professional, Diane was her name, she was ace.

Absolutely filthy. The sheets were clean and we were only staying one night or I would have left. The hotel is worn which would have been forgivable (pictures on the wall were broken, furniture scratched and very old, cosmetic mirror was all rusty) but it was so dirty. There were grimy shoe prints next to the tub that I couldn’t even scrub off with a towel. The carpet was extremely dirty and stained. Looked under the bed and it looks like it’s never been vacuumed. Broken chips all over. I’m stunned by the high reviews. $250 a night, it’s $110 a night room tops.

Very very old and outdated hotel!!!!! Carpets are dirty and furniture really horrible. Luckily the bed was still ok. If not for Sawgrass Mill Mall, I would not have chosen it. Sigh!!!

Free shuttle to the mall. Thanks to the community of sunrise. Not part of the hotel. Restaurant is very expensive, no free breakfast, no free coffee in lobby, just a pricey Starbucks. Check in was slow but the girl at the front counter was lovely and tried her best to accommodate us, as my dad is disabled. We enjoyed the mall and due to the close proximity of this hotel to the mall, we would stay here again. One or two nights would be fine.

Thank you for your feedback. We always encourage our guests to research the hotel before booking. DoubleTree as a brand does not offer free breakfast or free coffee in the lobby. What you are describing is a select service hotel such as Hampton. You can purchase packages, at a slightly higher rate, that does include breakfast. This is available on all booking sites. The restaurant prices are based on the local market and in line. Further, the food prepared is hot, fresh and not processed/packaged like you get at other hotels.
