Comfortable temperatures in and out of the water. Really enjoyed the trails on the property. Saw a beautiful red fox. Lots of deer tracks. Quiet and beautiful with a light snow fall. The grand lobby was decorated for Christmas. Very festive with twinkling lights and lots of decorated trees. A lovely pre Christmas getaway!"

"Absolutely superb. We've wanted to stay at the CL before, but never did. This time there was a good room rate and we jumped at it, then later upgraded to a room with a view of Parliament Hill. What a treat. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel, both of which were great. Waiters at both meals were pleasant and engaging. This was a great experience and we’ll do it again. "
