"Rooms felt small"

"Overall, my stay was pleasant. When I first arrived, it took quite a while for the front desk employee to acknowledge me, as she appeared to be finishing up a phone call and working on something else. However, once she did, she was kind and helpful. The main issue during my stay was the temperature throughout the hotel. My room was extremely warm, and despite setting the thermostat to a cooler temperature, it never seemed to make much of a difference. The hallways and common areas also felt quite hot. Other than those issues, the staff was friendly and the stay was enjoyable. With better temperature control and a quicker check-in experience, this would have been an even better stay."

"I really liked the location of the hotel. The staff was friendly. The shower was very nice. The bed was comfortable. I wish there was a full length mirror. I also wish there was somewhere to unpack my stuff & more hanging space. The best part was that it was a 4 min walk to the bus to Main street Flushing & a deli/convenience store Also only about a 6 min walk to College Park with tons of delicious mom & pop diners/restaurants, discount stores, groceries, market/delis. I would stay here again. There is a restaurant on the lobby floor, but it was closed for maintenance. I also think there is a dance club on the 1st floor or a ballroom. It was bumping Saturday night, but it did not disturb our sleep."

"Overall, I was impressed, the room, location and parking yeah I feel it was a great choice. However, I wanted to mention that I experienced an issue with the hot water during the evening. It took a significant amount of time for the water to warm up while showering. But again I was impressed and would probably stay again when visiting NYC."
