Fossil hunters flock to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument where petrified redwood stumps and delicate insect fossils await discovery. Nearby Pike's Peak offers spectacular hiking trails, while the Florissant Pioneer Cemetery reveals fascinating local history through weathered gravestones and pioneer stories.
Dane and Anne Marie have truly created an amazing sanctuary to get away from the hustle and bustle that day to day life brings. The views are absolutely stunning with lots of bird watching and Pikes Peak just on the horizon. The homemade breakfast was an added bonus every morning! Yummy! We couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming stay and we hope to come back some day! 11/10 recommend.

This is a great old historic building, with correct period furnishings. It was originally built as a hospital, but works fine as a hotel. WARNING: Some of the rooms have no bathrooms (I'm not sure how many), so if you want to avoid going down the hall for a morning shower, be sure to ask for a room with a bathroom. The staff here couldn't be more helpful and friendly. We had a very enjoyable stay. There is a shuttle service to the "downtown" if you don't want to drive the 1/2 mile or so...

The room was newly renovated and was great. The bed was comfy and the bathroom roomy and modern. Free breakfast at Mid City Grill is also a great bonus!

We had a grat visit. The property is beautiful. The little town is amazing. The hiking trails are awesome (but challenging for two out-of-shape, low altitude loving Texans. Lol). My only complaint would be getting and turning in the keys to our room. The lock boxes to retrieve the keys are a bit awkward and dont seem very secure, and leaving the keys in the room and texting that you're checked out left me feeling a bit uneasy.
Otherwise, everything was great.

We only stayed one night but it's a very nice clean hotel. The bed was very comfortable the air conditioning worked well, the bathroom was nice and clean. Check in ladies were extremely efficient and very friendly and knowledgeable.

Our stay at the Eagle Fire Lodge was pleasant. Our room was huge, complete with fireplace and kitchenette. The room was very clean, beds were comfortable and the location was great, right on Hwy 24, close to everything. Breakfast in the lobby was great, lots of choices, including homemade biscuits and gravy on Saturday. Would recommend to anyone visiting the Woodland Park/Cripple Creek/Pikes Peak area. Great option for families with kids.

This property is marketed as European luxury in Colorado. The new addition to Bronco Billy's is certainly that while the original property remains. There are still aspects of the property yet to open such as restaurants, pool, spa, etc. Our room is very comfortable and the bathroom is beautiful. Young lady who checked us in was very kind and knowledgeable. It is more luxurious than other Cripple Creek hotels so it obviously costs more.

We stayed just one night here while passing through town and loved Villa Motel! It's super cute and retro looking, but the rooms inside of been updated pretty recently. Everything was very clean and comfortable. I loved how close it was to walk to the historic downtown area, but juuuuust far enough away (3 blocks-ish) that it was quiet and you forgot there was a bustling downtown packed with people. We really liked this location and plan to come back and stay here for more than just one night....

Was a little disappointed with the fact that even though the hotel was not very full, we were given a room at the very end of the property right on the street, so we had to deal with a lot of street noise during the night
