Hôtel parfait, vous êtes chouchouté, le staff est aux petits soins, ils sont tous adorables, le cadre est magnifique: vous dormez en pleine jungle au bord du lac. La nourriture est excellente, le service complet, les chambres sont confortables: Luxe calme et volupté au rendez-vous. Vous pourrez nager au coucher de soleil sous les oiseaux qui volent au dessus de votre tête, tout en entendant les singes-hurleurs. Si vous n’êtes pas trop bruyant vous les apercevrez en allant vous baigner. Petit plus l’hôtel propose d’arriver en bateau depuis Flores, ce qui vaut le coup. Impossible de ne pas s’arrêter à La Lancha…merci Monsieur Coppola.

Hotel is beautiful, staff is friendly. But the food was not very good, and extremely overpriced for Guatemala. The breakfast menu was pretty large, for example, but the only "inlcuded" breakfasts were either yogurt, fruit, and granola, or 1 egg and toast. My husband asked for another egg and was told he would be charged. For dinner, the menu prices were insane, the portions were small, and the food wasn't great. I ordered a few of the vegetarian meals and one night I got a baked potato that was supposed to have grilled veggies on it for no joke-$30. It came with 2 tiny potatoes with maybe 1 Tablespoon of finely chopped (not grilled) veggies and the potatoes were raw in the middle. I had to ask for some tortillas because I was starving. My husband got a $40 steak that was small, just ok, and came with a side of chips with guac. and rice. And the problem was that the hotel is pretty far from the town so there weren't other options.

Our stay was beyond great! It was amazingly beautiful, fun, and peaceful!!! The staff is the nicest, most accommodating, and friendly!! The food is fresh and SO DELICIOUS!! Highly recommend this hotel!!! Our favorite? Pool, lake, howling monkeys, spider monkeys, the food, our bungalow… literally everything!!!

Beautiful hotel on the shore of a beautiful lake. Facilities are excellent, comfortable, even too perfect. Staff is super friendly and will help all your needs. My daughters (8 and 10) ranked it in their top 3 hotels they have visited because they had so much fun, especially in the lake and pool. Very recommended.

The property is unbelievable! This is in an excellent location, very convenient for exploring Tikal. The lake side set up is beautiful with a dock and lounge area. They also provide boating transportation, kayaks, life jackets, basically anything you can need for the lake. There’s even a handicapped accessible elevator that can take you down to the lake if you have issues with steep steps. The pool side was awesome equipped with umbrellas and loungers. The restaurant served excellent food. The bar and drinks were amazing. The service was absolutely incredible, top notch. The room itself was nice with a working AC unit, ceiling fan, and mini fridge stocked. The bathroom was nice with a size-able shower with hot water. Overall, I was very impressed with this hotel. 100/10 rating.

La primer noche de estadía fue muy agradable, sin embargo, para la segunda noche experimentamos una mala atención y fallos en los servicios que nos prometieron. - La propiedad anuncia que tiene Wi-Fi, nunca funcionó de manera estable y nos impedía estar en contacto con nuestros hijos. - El agua caliente falló en el segundo día. - La limpieza de la habitación en el segundo no fue buena, la habitación olía mal. - Ofrecen un menú más amplio para los huéspedes que llevan tres días, pero no lo comunican y es muy desagradable ver a un comensal sentado a nuestro lado con más opciones de comida que nosotros, ya que aparenta un privilegio para ellos y una discriminación para nosotros. Si nos lo hubieran dicho lo habríamos entendido. Mi esposa ama las pastas y no tuvo la opción en su menú mientras veía como en la mesa de al lado degustaban un plato de pasta. Era su cumpleaños.

La Lancha is an amazing place to stay if you like nature. We enjoyed every minute during our stay. The staff is very accommodating and provides excellent customer service. We enjoyed the sauna (temascal), swam in the lake and the hotel crew helped us coordinate a boat sunset trip to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The sauna and boat is at an additional cost but is definitely worthy, They offer free continental breakfast and the food is good! We rented a car in Peten which gave us the freedom of enjoying the whole area. But if you just want to enjoy the hotel is a good option too, its very relaxing, there’s a swimming pool and a mirador with a beautiful the lake view.there’s a lot of stars and it’s tiresome sometimes to go up and down but it was part of the experience that made it unique.. we did not have to worry about working out lol!
