Todo muy bien, camas cómodas, limpieza, personal servicial y muy amable. Lo único que veo negates que el check in a las 3pm lo siento un poco tarde para ese lugar turístico. Recomiendo este hotel

At Casazul, we enjoyed the best view in Flores, and watched the sun set each evening from our large balcony, with an ice-cold Gallo in hand. Chonita was helpful in advising attractions, tours and transportation. We highly recommend Casazul. William and Susan

My favorite thing about this hotel was the location. It has a nice balcony with an amazing view of the lake. My room had a strong smell of mold and the wifi signal was so weak that the internet was unusable while in the room.

Decent hotel. Nice view. It has air conditioning which is a must in Flores. They need more fans in the lobby area. On a relatively quieter area of the street.

Me encantó Casazul. Todo el equipo es muy amable y servicial. La visa al lago es espectacular, la terraza también. Lo recomiendo si estás buscando un lugar para descansar y pasarla relax. Los huéspedes tienen autorización para usar las piscinas de otros dos hoteles por si quieren refrescarse.

FR⬇️ Big spacious room with a beautiful view, huge king size bed and the best shower I’ve had in forever! The hotel was very clean, the staff was very kind and helpful. There’s also a really beautiful and quiet terrace on the upper level. I would return anytime! Oh also, they have free filtered water for you to drink! Gracias! Chambre spacieuse, très propre et hyper confortable avec une belle vue en boni. Immense lit et douche éléphant! Il y a aussi une superbe terrace tranquille à l’étage du haut. J’ai vraiment adoré mon séjour et les employés aimables. Eau filtrée à boire, café, the etc. J’y retournerais n’importe quand!

The balcony on 3rd floor over looking lake was gorgeous for watching the sunset! Very close to great restaurants! Wonderful staff!

The staff at Hotel Casazul is extremely nice and welcoming. The hotel is not big but has a nice view of the lake, especially at sunset. The only unfortunate thing is that there are electrical/telephone wires right in the middle of your view. The island of Flores is small and the hotel is conveniently located near a lot of good restaurants. Most are within 5-10 minutes walking. The bed is somewhat uncomfortable, but the hotel had a decent shower with hot water. There is also a refrigerator if you need to store food/snacks. They have air conditioning as well, which is a plus because it gets hot and humid on Flores. I would probably stay again at Casazul. It's not quite as beautiful as the photos, but it offers a good option for travelers who want to stay on the island of Flores.

The hotel appeared to be run down and not what we were expecting. I made sure to book rooms at hotels that had a pool,restaurant and parking. This hotel had none of these. Their solution was that we could change into our bathing suits and walk a couple blocks to another hotel of theirs that did have a pool. Then walk back, change and walk back down to go eat. Obviously not logical. We asked to transfer our rooms to their other hotel which they were able to do with us of course paying the difference in rates. The hotel we actually stayed was great! Completely night and day! I would not stay at Hotel Casaazul but I would in a heartbeat stay at their hotel in Santa Elena (literally just on the mainland part of the lake, still had lake views)

Great hotel pictures but terrible experience
We went for 3 nights to Peten, we wanted to stayed in this hotel all the nights but it was almost completely booked, so we only get the "chance" to stay for one night. Luckily. The hotel is very well located, the terrace view its beautiful and we felt safe. The staff was terrible, but there a was a woman who was the worst. We reported a problem with the AC because it started dropping water, and she started yelling at me that it was our fault because the control was under 20 degrees and she turn off the AC for one hour and she took the control with her. I asked her to return the control because we were about to leave and when you are using a hair dryer with the Flores temperature, you need the AC. Nobody told us that we should keep the AC above 21 degrees. When we came back, the room was obviously very hot, it took almost half an hour to freshen up. When we were getting ready to sleep, the most disgusting thing happened... a cockroach appeared in the bathroom. I couldn't sleep. And even if I could the ring would have waken me up several times. We stayed in the first floor and there was people getting into the hotel, and the bell ringed ridiculously loud. Impossible to rest and have a good time with all this inconvenients.

Great spot in Flores.
We choose this place based on location and seemingly cleanliness on pictures. I’m happy to report that this is correct. Although the place is a little more than the average of the area, it’s well worth it. My itinerary was not quite set when I arrived, but ended up making an additional two reservations here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They held our luggage for a few days while went did a hike out to El Mirador. They have bread and coffee in the morning for free and free cold and hot water throughout the day. There is a really good restaurant called big fish about three houses down that has great garlic shrimp. Pleanty of hot water and air conditioning. Would stay here again. Also, I stayed in a twin bed room, but they are not twin beds, more like a full or queen size and two beds.

Way above our expectations!
Very spacious room and modern bathroom, we were very positively surprised with the hotel. Our bedroom faced the street, not the lake, but the rooftop terrace has a great view of the sunset. Very friendly staff.

Clean and convenient.
Almost next door to the best restaurant on the island. Upgraded windows so rooms are quite quiet. Great covered veranda overlooking the lake with wonderful sunsets. Instant coffee available in lobby and occasional pastries in the mornings.

Updated hotel with great views
This hotel has updated rooms with new windows and comfortable beds and is very clean. Unlike some Flores hotels there was plenty of hot water! The road in front if the hotel (lakeside) is flooded so no traffic and very peaceful sitting on the deck to wstch activity on the lake and sunsets. Conveniently locsted next door to the best restaurant in Flores - Casa d'Enrico!

Flores was just a quick stop for me and my husband on our way from Guatemala City to Belize and Casa Azul was a perfect choice. Close walking distance to tons of great restaurants and little shops, super clean and the staff were very helpful and kind. Will definitely stay again on our next trip through the area.

Wonderful stay!
Room was newly renovated with all the amenities we could ask for including a very comfortable king bed, efficient AC, rain shower, refrigerator, hair dryer, even our own balcony with fantastic view of Peten Itza! The hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants and bars too! We couldn't have asked for a better hotel!
