I stayed in four properties during this past trip and this was the best of them. It felt like I was staying in a private guest house with all the amenities of a fancy hotel. The staff were helpful and attentive. The room was spacious, modern, and very clean. And, I so appreciated the nearby kitchen where I could access tea or warm water to nurse my sore throat. The hotel is centrally located - only a few minutes walk from the L'Accademia and the Domo. But, make sure you lift some weights before staying at this property - you'll need the strength to pull open the very large (and probably ancient!) doors to the building.

This was a great convenient stay in the city, very nice, quiet and clean The staff was welcoming. Dexter was very helpful. A few things to mention, the space is four flights up steps or reachable by a very compact 2-person elevator. Outside of the Inn, there was quite a bit of street construction. I could work with those limits and would stay again.

Amazing 3 night stay here. The location is perfect and very central. The rooms are modern, clean, homely and have everything you need. Staff are very kind and cannot do enough for you. They made us a cappuccino every morning with croissants. There is 24hr access to the fridge and kitchen where you can have a coffee at any time. The fridge is also stocked with water/orange juice/milk/yogurts that you have access to free of charge. Rooms are cleaned daily. Access to an iron on request. Cannot recommend this place enough!!

This hotel is perfect in the city of Florence. Can provide valet parking quickly. Can walk to the main museums. The room is large and clean good decoration. The service is very good.

Very quiet with insulated windows, blackout shades that allowed restful sleep, which was helpful in correcting my jet lag. Spotless hotel room, super comfortable beds with nice sheets. Free beverages, including cappuccino and espresso. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Room and Location!
We love these rooms. They are literally three minutes away from the Uffizi Gallery and the Duomo. They are so clean, the people that work there are so kind and helpful and the beds are very comfortable. In the morning they offer croissants and coffee with a cozy living room attached to the kitchen. In fact we like this place so much we will be back in two weeks.

Great hotel in a great location!
Although we were only there for one night, we had an excellent stay. The hotel is centrally located with an amazing view of the Duomo from our rooms (we had 3 couples). The rooms were comfortable and extremely clean. The service was very good and the complimentary beverages and croissants were a nice touch. We will definitely stay here again if we return go Florence for a longer stay.

Our second visit to the lovely, centrally located SGI enhanced our trip. Every staff member is friendly and welcoming, and the dinner suggestions were perfect. The charming “room with a view” and daily cappuccinos were such a pleasure. We are very grateful to the owner and staff for their care and attention. I am already dreaming of returning!

The perfect stay for your first visit to Florence!
San Giuliano was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I stayed here for our first trip to Florence, as this was one of many stops in our Europe trip, and San Giuliano was our favorite stay. The hospitality from the staff was outstanding as they went above and beyond, and the comfort and cleanliness of the room exceeded my expectations (which I admit I can be a bit picky about)! Great location, friendly and accommodating staff, and would absolutely stay here again.

We loved the hotel. It is close to everything, clean, and enjoyed the shared kitchen with coffee, croissants, yogurts, and water. Staff is very helpful and polite. Highly recommend.

First of all let me say I stayed in 4 properties in 4 different cities during my trip to Italy and the San Giuliano Inn was by far my favorite. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. I loved that they stocked water and coffee for us to consume whenever needed and they even had fresh croissants for us every morning! The view of the duomo from the room was absolutely beautiful. The proximity of this property to everything is what really made the experience great. 10-15 minute walk to the duomo, train station, and the ponte vecchio bridge. Definitely don’t hesitate to stay here.

This facility was close to Florence attractions, clean, with friendly staff. But it cannot be considered a hotel. Service hours are limited, access is through a small elevator, room is small with limited temperature control. Room furnishings did not allow for comfortable sitting or reading. I would not recommend it. There are so. Many alternatives in town.

The staff was very cordial and prepared your morning coffee with the complimentary croissant. The view of the Duomo was breathtaking from the rooms. It was very private with only six rooms

The service provided by the owners was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Though breakfast is not included, croissants and yoghurts and juices are provided free of charge for the guests to use.

A jewel in Florence
Great service from the start of our trip to the end. Check in was fast and easy. The units are very clean and well maintained. The air conditioning worked very well and was better than our previous hotel in Rome. We walked everywhere. The staff helped us get some laundry done for just short of ten Euros. They had a cab to the airport set up for us at 430am. The morning treats and drinks were delicious and very helpful. Another great touch.

An absolute Gem!!
We found in San Guiliano Inn the most perfect place to stay in Florence. The location is perfect, so close to all the main attractions a 2 minute walk for our early booking to Acadaemia Gallery, 5 minutes to the Duomo. But the kindness of owner and staff here is second to none. Beautiful clean room, complimentary tea, coffee, wine beer and croissants in the morning. They even made us cappuccinos in the morning and carried the tray into our room for me. The living room is so pretty too. They offer to bring your car ro the carpark which is also a 2 minute walk away. The only place I would stay when visiting Florence.

We loved our stay at this beautiful updated property! We had a little bit of a hard time finding the location but by no means I blame the hotel. We're just not good at following directions on google maps (lol). Property is in a great location! Walking distance to everything and the staff was very kind and accommodating! They provide you with toiletries and they have a room where you can get drinks, coffee, croissants and toast in the morning! The only problem we encounter was that the elevator is tiny but, these are very old properties so having a lift was already a plus. We highly recommend it!

Keep in mind, this is not the hotel, this is a townhouse, there is only the owner, nice lady, and there is no staff who can help you with the luggage. In the morning there some workers who can help to bring luggage downstairs. Everything else was excellent.

Great Little Place in Florence!
This is a really wonderful place to stay. The host was wonderful and made our stay very comfortable. The townhouse is close to many major attractions. No breakfast is included but the host does provide coffee, juices and croissants in the morning and has been known to make cappachino for guests. She also keeps a well stocked fridge with water, colas and some alcholic drinks which are included as part of your stay.

This is my second stay at this amazingly hidden gem! I’m afraid to tell too many people about how wonderful this place is! I’ve been here with my daughter-in-law and just now with my 17 year old granddaughter! They both loved it! I love it! The owner, Luanna, could not be more congenial! Hospitality plus! Her staff are also wonderful! The rooms are immaculate and the little sitting room is so charming! I will only stay here in Florence. You can walk to everything from here! What a gem! Our stay at San Giuliano Inn in Florence was 10/10. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Our room and the facilities were spotless. Our bathroom had the nicest shower. The location is a 10-15 minute walk from all the hot spots in Florence. Finally, the complimentary refreshments were so nice to have, keep us hydrated and energized for the two days we spent there after flying from the US. I would recommend any of my friends or family to stay here if they visit Florence!

Wonderful guest house. Room was spacious and very clean. Very quiet despite the locality to the main attractions. Tea and coffee making facilities in the kitchen, croissants, yogurts, water, beers and wines for free too. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The property itself is great. Parking was challenging as I had to park at the garage and walk with my luggage. They did bring me my car when I left which was nice however the garage attendant did not have the ability to take my credit card for payment so I had to use my cash and he did not have change. Other than that my stay was fine.

Absolutely recommend this accommodation! It is a completely prime location. We had a deluxe city view and loved waking up and enjoying coffee and croissants to the beautiful Duomo backdrop. It was a delightful place to take a break during the midday heat and crowds, as we still got to enjoy the view. Far enough away from the main crowds but close enough to be walkable to anything you may want to see (except maybe Piazzale Michaelangelo, in which case you should treat yourself to a Florentine bus ride anyway). Every staff member was helpful and made the stay even better. We wanted an authentic experience but also something clean and somewhat modern. We got all of that! We also loved the fridge with beverages as they were a terrific aperitivo! As a couple without children, we loved that this was an adults only property. We will definitely be back and will recommend this inn to our friends and family!

Great place to stay, highly recommend!
We loved this inn! There are only a few rooms, ours was very clean and comfortable. There’s a common sitting area which was great for 4 of us traveling together to sit and relax. It’s very close to Duomo and Accademia and within walking distance of Ponte Vecchio and other attractions. While there’s no breakfast, the inn has coffee, cornettos, and yogurt as well as a fridge with beer, wine and water. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The perfect spot to see all the major spots in Florence. We had a view of the Duomo from our room. Staff was very helpful and accommodating when we are early. They let us lounge for a bit and have an espresso. They also held our luggage while we wondered the city. And they even had everything in our room when we came back later in the day. Everyone was just lovely.
