Mattress was very uncomfortable. Heat/cooling unit didn’t seem to work at all. Hot water was plentiful. Shelf broke in the closet. Staff was very nice. Too much dog waste in the immediate area. It was serviceable but that’s all.

Very clean and quiet. Great location, very close to the train station and also close to tourist spots. The only downside was that the bed was very hard and not the most comfortable. Everything else was great!!

A great place to stay for our one night in Florence. Nuns were very helpful, did wake up to their beautiful singing! Place was clean and tidy. Very thin walls though, like staying in a dorm and you can hear everything - no good for light sleepers. We enjoyed our stay!

This is a working convent and the accommodations very much reflect that. It is austere. The very minimum amount of furniture, decor, and facilities. I checked out after two nights and sought accommodation elsewhere so that I could be more comfortable.

Definitely worth a try

Very close to Santa Maria Novella train station. Walking distance from there is rather easy for most. Very welcoming and quiet.

This hotel is part of a working Abbey, so we could hear beautiful nun's voices singing in harmonious a cappella three times each day. Clean, lean furnishings, with great hot water! Great value for the money.

The property we're run by nuns, which we thought was absolutely charming! They were so friendly and accommodating and just the nicest people. The area around the hotel was a standard downtown area in any metropolitan area but was very close to a lot of shopping and dining.

The bed was firm to me a bit too hard. Bathroom was clean. Biggest problem we had was with mosquitoes. This is a value hotel and good for the person who wants to save some money. If anyone is talking in the hallway, you can hear them. You can also hear them closing their doors. This is somewhat random and depends who your neighbors are. This is hallway noise only everything else was quiet.
