"We thought the room was really great - excellent bed and shower, everything very clean. Enjoyed the free breakfast, as well as restaurant and bar. We did ask once for a box of tissues from the front desk and were told there was none - this would be a nice item to have on hand in case another traveler has a cold like we did. Otherwise it was an excellent stay."

"Heidi – a true gem of this property! The service was excellent, especially thanks to the sweet lady Heidi, who was so wonderful. The room was clean and offered a picturesque view of the village. "Such an historic beautiful old hotel in Solvorn, Norway for our last stay before leaving the country. We just so happened to arrive the evening of the biggest storm in the last 25 years and our room was right in front of the ferry/dock to see all the action. As we arrived later in the day we were too exhausted to dine there so they brought us nice sandwiches and champagne upon arrival too."
