A bit out of the way. Old, needs refurbishing.

We arrived late and the kitchen was closed. Had to drive to a camping site to Get something warm to eat. Old hotel, large room, Clean. Staff helpfull and competant

Nydelig, gammelt hotell med flott beliggenhet i vakre Fjærland. Dessverre veldig enkel standard på rom, men salonger og spisesal var standsmessig. Har potensiale for å bli et nydelig hotell igjen.

idyllisk hotell med mange muligheter

Plassen var nydelig og artig med konseptet bokbyen. God middag, men vi og andre gjester ble bedt om å forlate spisesalen da det kom en turistbuss. Grei frokost, men de kunne gjerne fylt opp når det ble fritt for noe.

Hotell med sjel, men mangler mye.

Fantastisk bygning og svært sjarmerende. Unik vakker beliggenhet. Vi visste på forhånd at dette var et litt slitt sted og det er greit. Men et hotell som ligger så perifert til, burde kunnet tilby generelle faciliteter på rommet. Ingen tv.. og ikke muligheter til å sitte annet sted enn på sengen. Ett lite bord under vinduet var eneste møbel utenom sengen. Med to stoler man kunne slappe av i og nyte utsikten hadde gjort stor forskjell. Eller var vi godt fornøyd, god service, god seng og god frokost. Enkle grep hadde løftet dette sjarmerende stedet til nye høyder.

Historisches Hotelzimmer direkt am Fjord

Entspannter Aufenthalt, Wanderungen , Museum, Bücherstrasse und angeln. Kein TV und kein Radio. Sehr erholsam.

Great staff

Beautiful old hotel with a wonderful staff. Hotel almost empty because of time of year. Wonderful meal in the restaurant as well as buffet breakfast the next morning.

An outdated hotel.

The hotel is very outdated. The room was clean but of an extremely poor standard. Lacked any amenities. No fridge, tea/coffee facilities, hair dryer, phone, television. The blind in the first room I was given could not be lowered. They said it could not be fixed and moved me to another room. This room only had a hand held shower which was not affixed to the wall. The screws were still sticking out from the wall where there used to be a wall attachment. The paint was peeling in places. The rooms were very noisy. You could hear everything in the room next door, every word and footstep. The furniture in the hotel lounge was threadbare and worn through. I definitely would not recommend. I have stayed in much superior hostel accommodation.

Schade

Wir haben das Hotel wegen der Lage gewählt. Leider haben wir das besagte Zimmer mit Meerblick nicht bekommen, auch kein Nachlass im Preis. Der Wasserkocher und der Bademantel welcher auf der Buchung vermerkt waren, hat man vergeblich gesucht. Das Essen was gut, allerdings war die Bedinung schlicht uberfordert, haben 10min gewartet bis wir die Menukarte bekommen haben. Die Einrichtung ist im Vintage-Style allerdings fehlt die Liebe zum Detail. Ssogar das Vintage-Sofa am Eingang was kaputt und man durfte sich nicht drauf setzen.

Magnifique aspect extérieur. Charme désuet malheureusement au détriment du confort moderne. Literie déplorable. Froid. Salle de bain déplorable. Dommage car le cadre est exceptionnel.

Ærverdig og sjarmerende

Hotel Mundal var en flott opplevelse. Vi var heldige å få Tårnrommet, og det var som å reise inn i en annen tid, med himmelseng og Biedermeyer møbler. Hotellet er litt slitent og trenger sårt til litt stell, men tar det igjen i masse sjarm, autensitet, god service og utrolig vakker bygning og interiør. Masse hyggelige fellesområder, med god mulighet til å slå av en prat eller bare nyte omgivelsene.

Sjarmerende men trenger oppgradering

Bra frokost og sjarmerende fellesarealer. Hotellet var ikke godt vedlikeholdt og det var veldig lytt både til rom under, ved siden av og fra gangen. Badet var umoderne og trengte rehabilitering.
