Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. 「Lovely staff, all friendly and proud of the Inns History. We were there on a very quiet night! Lovely large room with a 4 poster bed and excellent bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast beat us, freshly prepared as we came down. 」
