"We really enjoyed our stay at the HU. Very clean, comfy beds, staff was really friendly and welcoming. They also gave us suggestions on places we might like to eat. We loved the location of the HU. It was very close to a lot of restaurants and things to do. We would definitely stay there again."

"This hotel is more like a resort!! Everything was amazing and I will stay here every time I go to Memphis from now on!! Rooms are not only clean, but they are GORGEOUS!! Friendly staff, great food, and all around enjoyable experience. 10 out of 10!!"

"When I booked a "suite" they didn't tell me ahead of time it was just connected rooms. The couch in the room with the kitchenette had stains on it and there were no sheets for the pull out mattress in any of the closets or dressers. That room also smelled horribly of weed but I think it was the people in the room over. Overall it wasn't bad for the price and for the one night we needed it. The beds were comfortable which was a plus."

"The hotel is dated no doubt. The website pictures are AI, and doesn’t show the real wear and tear of an older hotel. The furniture and carpet needs updating and the walls and ceiling shows water and rust damage. This is not what I consider a $300/night hotel with a $35/night valet parking lot. I expected it to look more modern."

"Valet is my only complaint, there’s no parking so it’s 100% valet. And things get pretty backed up. Friendly staff and good food."

"I booked my room for Tuesday through Saturday. When I got to the hotel I had to call out for help because no one was at the desk and there was no bell. I had to show the clerk my reservation email because she didn't have record of my booking. The hotel advertises an indoor pool (which was closed for repair) and breakfast each morning (which wasn't served). After checking in I headed up to my room. The stairwell and hallway floors were disgusting. Trash everywhere and it didn't look like the carpets had been cleaned in a while. When I got to my room I only had two pillows, two towels and no toilet paper. I went back down to the desk and the clerk gave me additional items and toilet paper. After my first night I went out to sightsee. When I returned to the hotel my key card didn't work so I went to the front desk where I was told that I should have checked out that morning. Again I showed my booking confirmation and the issue was corrected. I got up to my room and my belongings were thankfully still in the room. During my stay, housekeeping did not clean my room or replace linens once. I had to swap out dirty towels with the front desk. The only saving grace about my stay was the cost of the booking and the helpful front desk staff I dealt with."
