"The hotel is fairly new. Both rooms and common areas were nice and clean. However pool area could use more maintenance as it was not as tidy as possible. Also pool hours were extended due to the intense heat but should be even longer as guests enjoy this amenity. Super convenient location which even allows you to walk to the city if you enjoy a long stroll"

"This charming hotel offers comfortable rooms and social areas. The staff/ owners are helpful, friendly, and always available. I love that we had access to a kitchen with a grocery store right next door. The hotel is easy to find and convenient for exploring locally. I felt both fancy and at home at this hotel. "The hotel was very welcoming for the eclipse, providing us with viewing eye ware and a bottle of wine. They also suggested the best viewing spots in the city. But the place is under construction and renovation so many basic amenities are missing such as toilet paper holders, hair dryers and coffee makers in the room. But our room was spacious and comfortable nevertheless. Prices for the room were nearly triple the normal rate due to the eclipse and there was only street parking due to the renos."

"Our stay at Finca Valdobar was absolutely exceptional and one of the highlights of our trip through Spain. The property is beautiful, spotless, peaceful, and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. It offers the perfect combination of comfort, privacy, and relaxation while being ideally located near Peñafiel and the renowned wineries of Ribera del Duero. As a family traveling with a child, one of the things we appreciated most was the sense of safety throughout the property. The outdoor spaces are spacious, well maintained, and perfect for families. We felt completely at ease allowing our son to enjoy the grounds while we relaxed and took in the beautiful surroundings. The atmosphere is quiet, private, and welcoming, making it an ideal place to disconnect and enjoy quality time together. A special thank you to Félix, whose hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly and took the time to explain every detail about the property and the area. He provided excellent recommendations, answered all our questions, and was always available whenever we needed assistance. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for his guests were evident throughout our stay. As an added surprise, he even gave us a thoughtful welcome gift, a gesture that made us feel especially appreciated. Everything exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Finca Valdobar and hope to return in the future."
