The hotel is beautifully maintained and designed. The staff is great. The location was in the thick of things which is not ideal, but Tiergarten was just a few steps away so that provided a nice refuge from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. This is not a serene location if that is what you are looking for. The apartment style accommodations are great. Spacious, clean room with a very good bathroom and bed. Unfortunately housekeeping is only every 3 days, so make your bed and save your towels! Check in staff were cordial but early check in was not available for us.
