「Rubbish was found all over the floor (plastic nails, bottle of water under the dressing table, half eaten cookie), bed extremely uncomfortable, food in the restaurant salty(when sent back the tone was like I was asking for more food, rather than trying to rectify error politely), no idea how this place is 4star, would never go back. Spa just re-opened after refurb, but works still going on, debri everywhere, smell of silicone in the changing room revolting. Staff on reception and spa lovely. 」

「I have stayed at a few of these hotels for work as I travel around quite regularly. There seems to be a reoccurring theme that the bathrooms have a really horrible drain smell. I would have mentioned this to staff but I dropped my bags off to the room went for dinner come back and it was already around 8:30- 9:00.
The second theme is the service in the bar is inconsistent - my drink came quickly and my main came around 20 mins after this .. I had ordered pizza. Also bare in mind I’m a solo...

「Clean room, very helpful attentive staff. The amenities were those expected of a b&b. Our only qualms about our stay was there was no offer of remuneration re: the boiler having broken down.」
