Fantastic Riad style hotel located within the medina, beautifully decorated. Fabulous staff who were super helpful. Breakfast served in roof top restaurant with views over city an added bonus. Highly recommend.

This property is a gem. The building is just beautiful and full of charm. The manager was hospitable and helpful. The breakfast was fulfilling. As a Ryad or Dar I rate it a 9.8 out of 10. The missing .2 is because the alleyways to enter the hotel may be a little bit formidable for North Americans. However we have to understand that the Ryad/Dar in an old Medina can not be any different. So Dar Mekenes Tresor I wish you well in the future.

Dar Meknes Tresor is indeed a treasure. An old Dar in the medina that has been lovingly restored. The hosts really care and were responsive to our needs and requests. Noting that I am an old man who walks with a stick, Rachid kindly offered us either a ground floor suite (normally reserved for families) or a lovely, large room off the stairs between the ground floor and the next one up. (We chose the latter, partly for its privacy, and were very happy there.) Breakfast was really good (and now includes hard-boiled eggs, perhaps because of a previous guess comment). Rachid also recommended a nearby restaurant, Aisha, where the people were friendly, the food was really good--best harira I've had in Morocco--and the menu included more than the usual tagines, pastillas, and couscous. I really liked the Berber rfissa. (BTW communicating with Dar Meknes Tresor by phone works really well; via the "Contact" option on their web site, not so well.)

Trés bon séjour à Meknes sauf a notre arrivée ou des personnes malhonnêtes nous ont pris de l'argent pour nous donner de fausses indications sur l'emplacement du Dar.Le gérant était tout simplement parfait et trés attentif à nos désirs, on a beaucoup parlé avec lui, c'était trés agréable. Très beau Riad, rénové avec beaucoup de goût. Les éléments anciens sont bien mis en valeurs et la déco est sobre et élégante. Toit amovible pour couvrir le patio très appréciable pour le petit déjeuner en saison fraîche. Très jolie terrasse et belle vue sur la medina. Parfait pour le spectacle du coucher de soleil. Facile d'accès depuis la grande place, si jamais vous avez du mal à trouver la première fois comme nous qui avions juste pris l'adresse, vous trouverez toujours des habitants adorables pour vous guider et qui ne vous demanderons rien en échange. Chambre très propre. Jolie salle de bain en zelige. Chauffage pour l'hiver. Belles serviettes colorées et moelleuses joliment disposées sur le lit. Nous avons été merveilleusement bien accueillies par Rachid, le gérant des lieux. On s'est senties comme dans la maison d'un ami. Nous avons apprécié sa visite des lieux, son thé à la menthe de bienvenue et des petits détails comme le fait de remplir lui-même nos feuilles de renseignements (prestation que nous n'avons jamais eu même dans des hôtels plus luxueux!). Nous avons également eu droit à un surclassement sans en faire la demande. Un grand merci pour sa gentillesse, sa simplicité, son humour et ses bons conseils (très bon restaurant!) et sa disponibilité! Nous reviendrons avec un très grand plaisir!

Great place, even better host

Great place in the Medina of Meknes. There is a rooftop terrace from which you can admire the sunset. The room is beautiful but has as only downside that it takes some time to get hot water. The host Rashid was super friendly and helped us really well! If you're visiting Meknes, dar Meknes tresor is a great place to stay!

チェックイン時間より早く到着しましたが、アーリーチェックインでき、親切に対応していただき助かりました。 場所はメディナの中ですが、所々サインがあり、たどり着けました。部屋もきれいで雰囲気があり良かった。雨の為、寒かったけどエアコンがあり快適でした。 部屋にドライヤーが無く、フロントで貸して頂けるとの事でした。気付いたのが夜だったので借り損ねた。 朝食のクレープが美味しかった。機会があれば、また泊まりたいです。

The staff were extremely helpful. They even escorted to me a resturant so that i dont get lost in the old medina. It is a new riad. The location is great. I had a rooftop room with a great city view. The breakfast was decent enough. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. This is the best riad i have stayed in during my trip. For the amount of money i have paid, there cant be a better riad than this one.

Es muy bonito y agradable

El dar está fenomenal, es precioso. El desayuno muy rico y todo muy limpio. Cuenta con una terraza con vistas y una buena localización. Para nuestro gusto las almohadas un poco altas y la wifi no funcionaba, pero eso nos ha pasado en casi todo Marruecos. Recomendamos el dar para alojarse, la verdad. Su propietario atento y simpático.
