「First and foremost the property was clean, functional and offered value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, although our experience of room service was let down by dirty cups being left. 「This property is described as “Luxury” on Expedia. I’m not sure who came up with that description, but it is very much at the other end of the luxury scale. Granted, the building is old, but having read the description, we were looking forward to a high-spec, luxury boutique B&B with parking. Unfortunately, the reality was a world away from the impressive sales pitch. The parking is not private, as implied by the Expedia description, but public parking in the nearby square.
