What a lovely restored old property! Very close to the town centre, so easy to walk to all the sites and restaurants. Amanda and Alex were amazing hosts; nothing was too much trouble to organise, onward travel, places to stay and visit along with the awkward Cuban money exchanges! Breakfasts were great, room mini bar and cocktails in the evenings.

Perfect Havana Stay

Loved our stay at Fentons! Amanda is a wonderful host and provided some excellent recommendations while we stayed! The room was perfect and had the most comfortable bed! We slept so well here and enjoyed the aircon in the room! Breakfast each morning was delicious with fresh fruit, eggs, avocado, cheese and toast! This was the perfect place and can’t recommend it enough!

Amanda was great

Very dedicated host. She was very welcoming and super helpful with tips and ideas on how to make the most out of the trip. The place is great - great location really close to Old Havana and near some great restaurants and places to visit. Would definitely repeat in a future visit to Cuba

The location was fantastic within walking distance from the center of Havana. Breakfast was great and the best thing of all was the friendly Casa host Amanda. From arriving she helped us with everything from money matters to things to do. Cuba is a differrnt place to travel to and any help from locals is a great benefit.

The thing that we liked the most was the help and support we received fron Amanda the Casa host. From start to finish she helped us with every aspect of our trip. The Casa was spotless and the breakfast was fantastic. Its only a short walk to the center and easy to find. Book this Casa and get the help and support if this is your first time in Cuba.

Amanda is an incredible host. The casa itself is gorgeous and in an amazing location. We were able to easily walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. We messaged Amanda a *lot* of questions before our arrival, and she was unbelievably quick and informative each and every time. I could not recommend staying at Fentons enough.

The Casa is beautiful! Very well designed with lots of perosnal touches. Really clean in all spaces. I arrived in the night when there was a power cut and the own set had lit all these candles which made it look like a fairy tale hotel. Amanda the owner was really helpful and fun to chat to. Definitely recommend staying here!

Nice and cosy place in Havanna center

Amanda was a very caring person and she helped me with many things. She was giving me ideas about places to visit and advice about practicalities there. I don't speak Spanish so it was great to be able to communicate in English with her. Fenton Boutique Casa was a very clean and cosy place to stay and I would warmly recommend it!

Amanda is an excellent friendly host with plenty of recommendations as to how you can tailor your experience in Havana to your tastes. The casa is beautifully decorated, safe and close to the Capitol and Parque Central. There is a steep staircase leading up to the casa (which was only a bit of an issue because I was traveling with a 65 year old with mobility issues) but otherwise I couldn't reccomend this casa enough! :)

I would 100% book this again

We had a 5 nights stay in Havana and thanks to Amanda’s (the landlord) tips before we travelled and all help during the stay it was one of our absolutely best vacations. The hotel is a three room cosy hotel and has really warm welcoming feeling. The breakfast every morning with fresh fruit and your choice of eggs is the best start of the day. Amanda helps you in all ways to have a great experience with bookings and tips. The information pack we received when booking was off so much help and the best start of the vacation planning.

Very friendly and centrally located Casa

The Fentons is centrally located within walking distance to Old Havanna and more which for me was an very convenient location. The standard and comfort was very good in relation to cost. Breakfast was good with coffee, fruit, bread and cheese jam as well as choice of eggs. In addition Amanda and Alexandre as well as there staff were extremely attentive, friendly and serviceminded. So I booked an additional night here after a few days visiting other locations in Cuba. It felt like coming home.

Best host in the world.

I have travelled all around the world and stayed in many hotels in the UK for work, but i have never come across a host as welcoming and hospitable as Amanda. The ensuite room was both spacious and immaculately clean. Amanda not only made our trip to Havana, but our entire Cuba experience a most memorable one. From booking old car tour, taxi and restaurants, nothing was too much trouble My partner and myself cannot thank her enough. An amazing lady.

Fentons Boutique Hotel is like you are guest if one of your kind friend. She thinks and helps for every single thing which matters a lot in Cuba and make my trip very easier than I thought. Amanda is very friendly and kind. She cares about what you are looking for and helps you kindly. I enjoyed spending time with her. Very clean room and fantastic breakfasts that she even make a picnic version of it when you are going early out of hotel for a tour. She prepared kindly my breakfast for the day of my flight. Amazing. The Hotel is located very close to Hotel Ingeterra and other historical places in Havana. 100% recommend.

Fentons the Boutique Casa was an excellence choice for our stay. It is located in the center of Havana near great attractions, activities and restaurants. The property was in a safe location and well maintained. Amanda and Alex were excellent hosts that provided top notch customer service including breakfast and amenities (towel, blanket and bag) for the beach. Amanda also shared tips for how to prepare for Cuba that were invaluable. The ambiance of room 1 was comfortable and cozy with air condition, a comfortable bed and a private bathroom. The common dining and living room areas were clean with cultural and historical artifacts and pictures. There are about 50 steps to access the casa (great exercise) and a friendly dog (dogs are widespread in Cuba). I recommend the Fenton experience which provided a well rounded cultural experience in Havanna and Vinales with great restaurant choices. I highly recommend this property.

Fentons stay with teenage son

Our stay at the Fentons was excellent. I stayed there with my 13 year old son. We had such a good stay. The host, Amanda, is amazing. She is a wealth of knowledge and provides a lot of information before arrival. She answered all of my questions. Once we arrived at the property, she gave us advice on the best way to get to our tours. She booked our rides to and from the airport- lovely classic cars with very nice drivers. We had an early tour one day so she packed us a fabulous breakfast to go. The normal daily breakfast is very good- tropical fruit, cheese, bread, smoothies, eggs, coffee. She has recommendations for activities and how to avoid being taken advantage of. The property felt very safe. If we visit Havana again we will definitely stay at the Fentons again. Highly recommended.

Care-free casa where you're looked after

A great stay started well before we arrived. Amanda shared some super helpful guides on navigating cuba and thinking about hwo to budget/what money to bring. She also helped us plan activities, understand how to change money and book restaurants for a small and reasonable fee that made our trip stress free. The cooking experience surpassed our expectations. The casa is beautiful and has everything you need including great breakfasts and her super cute dog Sorpresa to greet you when you arrive home! Amanda made us feel at home throughout our stay and her reccomendatuons were all fantastic! It is situated in the newer part of Havana near the main street leading to the central park and a 10-15 minute walk into Old Havana. Perhaps not for people with mobility issues as there are a few narrow stairs up to the casa but if you can manage those we would 100% recommend staying here and we would come again if we come back to Cuba

Na een lange reis kwamen we bij Amanda (de eigenaresse) aan voor onze eerste nacht in Cuba en Havana. Deze prachtig, scenic-achtige accomodaties ligt in het midden van Havana waardoor je altijd dichtbij de highlites in het centrum bent. Nadat we waren aangekomen in deze accomodatie kregen we een heerlijke cocktail (midden in de nacht) en deelde Amanda tips & tricks over Havana en hoe om te gaan met Cubanen. Deze mini-instapcourse heeft ervoor gezorgd dat we onwijs hebben genoten van de stad en het land! We raden deze accomodatie iedereen aan qua ligging, hygiëne en gastvrijheid! Daarnaast helpt Amanda je ook graag met het regelen van excursies!
