My husband and I stayed in the comfort quadruple room with our two young boys aged 6 and 8 to explore Diggerland and Rochester a few minutes away. "A lovely, very old village property with lots of original features. A comfortable stay with a perfect host who was friendly, positive, quick to reply and charming. Good breakfast included. It’s worth being aware that this is a very old house with its own character, creaky floorboards and all! Good pub across the road for food. "Unique little hotel above a popular pub. Not noisy though. Our room was incredibly small. Really cute but the smallest lodging I have ever stayed in. Be sure to tell them if you are large people. That could have been an issue. The hotel is clean and has great staff. "

"I stayed in the Love & Peace cottage. I initially was only staying a few days, but resulted in staying 3 weeks due to my father's health. Pat, the owner, was so welcoming and then so accommodating with the uncertainty of my length of stay. Going through a rollercoaster of emotions, Pat always made sure I was ok. "Excellent staff and facilities "

"Stayed here for five nights and loved it! Our room was spacious, clean, had a microwave, washer/dryer and basically everything you might need for your stay. The only thing I did not like about the property was the bathroom… I wish they had shower curtains instead of just a glass partition that doesn’t really prevent the water from getting out of the bath tub when you shower. Also, a step stool to get in the tub would be nice since the tub is quite high."
