A nice cosy hotel, which we had to take after the apartment we booked first was not available anymore. Hotel is situated in Vauxhall close to London centre, easy walking distance. Room was okay, except one curtain was defect. Breakfast was good.

The hotel is located above a bar. You have to check-in going through the restaurant. There is no elevator. Luckily the staff took our heavy luggage to our room. The room is VERY small, and there's NO air conditioning, on a sweltering night. Pictures of the hotel are deceiving.

First, I wanna say my husband will love telling all of his buddies. We stayed above a pub in London. We so much enjoyed the four young ladies that took care of us and the pub they made suggestions and helped us navigate London. The food was really good and enjoyable. Great prices on pitchers of mixed drinks. If you stay there, you need to know two things there’s no elevator and no air-conditioning but you have a fan.

The hotel's proximity to public transport (Nine Elms and Vauxhall) was advantageous. The room was adequately sized and clean; the king-size bed was comfortable, though the single bed was not. Breakfast was substantial and satisfying. Michelle provided excellent and attentive service. However, I wish to bring two matters to the owner's attention. The lack of an operable window resulted in poor air circulation. Secondly, while acknowledging the building's age, the provision of portable air conditioning units in each room is recommended, as the existing fans are insufficient. Despite these issues, I would recommend this hotel.

The staff are amazing so friendly and helpful. The rooms and the food were really good. It is only a short walk to the nearest tube station. We had a fantastic stay and would be happy to return.

Leuke atmosfeer in deze pub/hotel. Keuze uit continental of English ontbijt. Kamer zeer netjes en zeer comfortabel bed. Wel wat kleine kamer met geen opbergruimte. Een stoeltje op de kamer zou handig zijn om wat kleding op te leggen. Verder was alles toppie! Zeker een aanrader.

The manager Cas was really nice. He gave us a complimentary drink when I arrived, and since the wifi wasn’t working in the room, and I had to come to the restaurant/pub in the hotel to get wifi he offered me a free drink. He really tried to get the wifi working in the room, but it never worked. He was very apologetic. The bathroom was very nice, and the bed was very comfortable. I had requested 2 twin beds but they gave us a king sized bed. The food in the restaurant was pretty good., There’s no elevator.

Staff is really lovely, and inclusive breakfast a bonus. The rooms are kept clean, tidy and a little quirky. The mattress showed a bit of use - and shower drain a bit smelly. If you’re looking for a quiet pub hotel - this isn’t it. There is double glazing which helps. Easy walk from Vauxhall.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Griffin Belle last week! From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, helpful, and full of great local tips — they really made our stay extra special. Our room was clean, comfy, and quiet — just what we needed after travelling — and the location couldn’t have been more convenient. We had early morning appointments at the US Embassy, and being just a 10-minute walk away made everything so easy and stress-free. The pub downstairs is a real highlight too — buzzing atmosphere, great food, and friendly service (special thanks to the team behind the bar!). It’s rare to find somewhere that gets both the comfort and character just right, but the Griffin Belle absolutely does. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!
