"My husband and I, and our daughter and son-in-law all loved our Lemon Tree Stay. What a perfect ending to our visit to Portugal! Everything about the Lemon Tree Stay was perfect and delightful starting with the staff, Vasco and Rachel, who gave us a wonderful and very warm welcome. Vasco offered us coffee or tea and a delicious piece of freshly baked orange cake when we arrived. He also provided us with a map and spent time giving us great ideas of places to visit and to eat. Rachel, who arrived in the afternoon was just as welcoming and friendly. The smell of the delicious orange cake she was baking for the next morning drifted all the way up to the outdoor rooftop terrace where we sat before leaving for dinner. The courtyard with the beautiful lemon tree and seating areas was like a little paradise, as were the two roof top terraces. The room we booked was small, but was spotless and well appointed with a super comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and a wonderful shower. Because we had to leave before breakfast, Rachel left us bagged breakfasts with sandwiches and orange cake, and even coffee cups and saucers for each of us so we could eat before our shuttle arrived. "

"Had a lovely stay. The room was very comfortable and warm. The breakfast fabulous. The cocktails and views from roof top bar amazing. One slight negative was staff setting up restaurant for breakfast dragging not lifting chairs. I heard it all but just one of those things. I hope the floor is ok !"
