Find Family Hotels in Farmville, VA

"Front desk employee couldn't find my reservation in the computer. I even had my print out from Hotels.com showing the confirmation and that we had already paid for the room. He finally did find it after 5 - 10 minutes. I have never had this happen to me in any of my traveling. He never did say what the issue was. Other than that the room was nice and it was clean. The bed was hard. In a safe area with plenty of places to eat,"

"Front desk staff was very good. Breakfast was terrible: see-through coffee, toaster did not work for toast or bagels, just cold and hot cereal, juice machine broken. Room was missing hand towels, Kleenex, toilet paper. Paint peeling off bathtub walls. Counter not clean. Housekeeping threw bed together. Did not seem to care about the little things for a pleasant stay.second room where other family stayed also missed needed items. Will try hard to remember not to book this place again. "

"The room had spider webs on the ceiling, peeling paint on the walls, black debris all over the sofa, a dirty toilet seat, a bathtub that drained extremely slowly, and very poor sound insulation. This has been the worst stay I’ve ever had at a Holiday Inn, and I will not be choosing Holiday Inn again in the future. These conditions are completely different from what was described on the Expedia website."

"Breakfast was good. My kids really enjoyed the waffle maker.. very friendly staff. My only complaint would be the air-conditioning unit ran very cold. I had to turn the heat on to get the temperature above 65, even though we had the thermostat set at 68. other than that, it was great. Comfortable beds clean room."
