I would have to admit that this resort is a little worn out, but the room was clean, the staff was friendly, the Blue Conch restaurant on site served excellent food, and every balcony had a view of the beautiful blue ocean. I would definitely stay here again if I was in Exuma!

We went to Exuma searching for quiet, and we found it! The Exuma Palms, despite being right on the Queen's Highway, was very quiet and relaxing. The ocean view was great from even our ground-level room, the room was very clean, and the beds reasonably comfortable. However, be sure to have a car if you stay here. We had to walk on the edge of the rural highway in the dark for 2/3 of a mile to find the nearest open restaurant. The Exuma Palms recently changed ownership, and the new owners are working to bring it back, but as of February 2026 there were still a lot of needs. There was a pile of lumber and some work completed, but no work was done during the week we were there. Of the two stairways to the beach, both were difficult for my wife to navigate after her knee surgery last year. Cracked plaster and corroded metal work continued the theme of neglect. The trash dumpster overflowed all week. We never saw the pool cleaned or the deck taken care of; items were left for days until we cleaned them up ourselves. Lounge chairs had broken bolts and were ready to fall apart. The room included a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, but no coffee nor even cups. I don't know if the water is drinkable, but it was hard to find bottled water outside the restaurant. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, only a window opening to the hall. Our room was never cleaned or our trash taken out. The restaurant, however, was very nice, and the service there excellent.

A mid-level private beach is an excellent place to sun and relax with beach views.

Amazing view with custom home style atmosphere.. The owner and all of his staff will make you feel right at home the food was top notch with not having to wait for hours to get food brought to your table. Service was quick and prompt that's very hard to find in the Bahamas. Clear view of the Ocean from your room,pool, dining area and bar. Amazing beach to walk on and swim.

We loved that we were able to walk to the beach. The beach was quiet, the water crystal clear, and the sand like powder. The people at the resort kind and very helpful. The resort itself need some updates. The AC, the rooms, and definitely a generator for when the lights go out. Also, they do not serve breakfast so if you need breakfast you have to fend for yourself. I would advise to rent a car so you have more flexibility.

Exuma palms resort is a beachfront resort overlooking the ocean most especially when you wake up. It’s a 20min drive to George Town but there are grocery and liquor stores close to this property. There’s also a restaurant within the property owned by the owner of the resort himself, he is the chef too and his name is Joel and he is amazing! The food is really really good! One thing he did that amazed me is when he has to look for a conch as I have been craving for a conch salad when we got there and he made it possible for me to have it before leaving Exuma! We fell in love with Exuma and will definitely come back except for the no-see-ums lol. This place is highly recommended when you visit Exuma!!!
