"Short review: absolute the worst hotel I have ever been to, don’t get fooled by the hotel picture. Long version: I booked this hotel because it is by Wyndham, and the room picture looks very good. The hotel room was recently renovated, and the room condition is the same as what is shown in the pictures, but that is the only good thing about it. The hotel building itself is very old, there is no ventilation in the washroom, and the toilet feels like could be clogged anytime. The a/c in the room only blows hot air, even if I set to the cool mode. The hotel room window is fixed by screws, but the window is not fully closed, which means there is a crack for cold wind blow in during night, and very loud when cars passing by. Staffing wise, the staff has no idea how to run a hotel. My friend book a king bed but when we checked in, they told us only two beds are available. During midnight of our first night, someone just break in my friends room and claimed that he is hotel staff and checking if the room is occupied. My friend have there door latch locked, but it was improperly installed, so it did not prevent people opening the door from the outside at all. The hotel served breakfast for the first day, but they didn’t on the second day, probably because they are too tired from the stripper event last night. Oh right, this hotel host stripping event for ladies opening to people not even staying the hotel. If you are traveling with kids, stay away from this hotel "

"Amazing!!!! My husband and I had our microwedding at the Inn on Broadway and they exceeded our expectations. Mary and her team were responsive, professional and kind. The building is breath taking, as they have preserved and maintained over 200 years of historical old money charm. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a feast of numerous dishes and all of them were superb. We had 3 rooms all of which were unique in design and beautiful. I highly recommend booking an event here. It is truly a one of kind location with great staff and service."

"We’ve had great experience at Staybridge hotels and we are adding this one to the list. Fresh baked cookies and friendly staff when you walk in. Complimentary drinks from mon-wed for guests. The room was nice with the kitchen and comfy bed. We had the river view which was nice cause you could see the university of Rochester too. Good breakfast. Deff will stay again :) "

"Room was updated, spacious, and clean. Free breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Parking lot was small but you can park in the museum of play lot and get it validated at the hotel."
