Rush Creek Lodge and Spa at Yosemite

Rush Creek Lodge and Spa at Yosemite

8/10 Good
"We had a great stay at Rush Creek. The location cannot be beat. The site and way the lodge and cabins are designed feels well integrated with the site. Lots of spaces to sit and chill and well organized and helpful signage. The onsite store & coffee shop was so convenient, although pricey. The details of the interiors and public spaces were thoughtful & modern & not overdone. It definitely is family friendly, in fact probably more for younger family’s. Lots of great activities that we didn’t take as much advantage of with teenagers. The game room/lounge, which is amazing and inviting, was however overflowing with what seemed like mostly unsupervised children with not a lot of respect for the nice pool tables, furniture and nearby restaurant patrons. The room was very comfortable and lots of details & appointments that were clearly thoughtful. There was plenty of storage and the sliding doors & balconies created a great opportunity for a teenager who needs some privacy. The air conditioning didn’t seem like it was working. It wasn’t too uncomfortable and since we out most of the day, it wasn’t much of a problem. We had a great week at Yosemite and were happy to have Rush Creek as our home base!"

"The staff and property were great! So much fun stuff for the kids to do and it was beautiful! The tents were so clean and well kept! The only downside was the bathroom we shared. It got pretty messy and dirty with the amount of people using it. Maybe if it was cleaned more through the day! Also we wish there were more food choices but all in all a great vacation!"
