"The property was good, upside down property, set in a lovely harbour town. Locals friendly. Amazing ice cream shop. The attached fish and chip shop was very busy too. Parking was roadside, not guaranteed, opposite the property. We arrived at the end of the Herring Queen Festival, which was packed out. We struggled to even unload, but obviously that wasn't something we knew about prior to booking. After that had finished, parking wasn't really a problem. "The house and facilities are fantastic, in fact it felt so homely and welcoming we did not want to come home. The owners are lovely people very friendly and helpful The area is great for getting to many close by areas and dog walks. Love the art around the gardens, fenced in garden great for our pooches. "The room was really spacious and well equipped with a kettle, armchair, TV and tea and coffee. We slept well and there was plenty of space for us both and our two dogs. It was also great value for money, especially as a delicious and generous breakfast was included. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Would recommend and would stay again!"

"A beautiful idealic farmhouse nestled in the countryside with picturesque views and ample scenic walks. Upon arrival the hosts were very welcoming and made it feel less of a bed and breakfast and more like visiting friends. It was clear to see the owners take great pride in their house as walking through to my room it was very clean and well presented. The room was just as advertised and much like the rest of the property well presented and clean. Amenities were plenty and top ups were readily available. I honestly haven't slept as well as I did in a very long time. Once the lights were turned off there was no light pollution and it was deafly quite par the odd hoot of an owl which was a welcome change from the city scene I'm used to. Unfortunately I wasn't able to experience breakfast due to early arrangements, however I did view the breakfast room which looked very well presented. A front door key was provided along with my room key which made coming and going much more relaxed and just added to the homely feel. Overall I'd highly recommend this establishment would say this is must stay if you ever find yourself visiting the area."

"Surprised at the "remote" way of gaining entrance (reminds me of COVID times!). Given a 'number' for entrance datalock that allows you through front door (after setting it up, a wave of door key fob allows entrance) and then (in our case) climbing some "challenging stairs" (we are in our 70s!) to the allocated room, with key left in the door. Saw "no life" till breakfast room! Breakfast was very good. Eyemouth worth a visit, but ruled by the gulls!"
