"This is a nice quant place that is quiet but still close to shopping/dining. John is the best host, super friendly, wanting to make your stay the best. We stayed in the little cottage. Everything was clean, the bed was comfy, surfed alot of tv channels and we enjoyed watching the deer off the deck in the evening. Perfect getaway!"

"Fun stay in historic hotel. Nice having access to the large patio space. Had supper in the 4th floor pizza place, the calzone was big enough for 6! Took the 'ghost tour' and enjoyed the history of the hotel. Did not see any ghosts, but most of the floors and doors were creaky."

"The owner had office across the road. Barbara and Rosita were very kind and made great breakfast dishes. You can park and walk to downtown in 5 minutes if climbing stairs is acceptable. Trolley is also close for 6 dollars a day."
