Nestled along the Spanish River, Espanola invites visitors to hit the slopes at Boogie Mountain or tee off at the scenic Golf and Country Club. Marvel at nearby Whitefish Falls' cascading waters, then refuel at one of the welcoming local restaurants that give this small northern town its charm.

Hard to see in the distance but there's a cool dam way back. I tried to get a shot of the massive factory beside it - but was blurry through the window. So far I've counted 4 waterfalls and several dams along the Trans-Canada Hwy. also seen a beautiful hawk sitting atop a hay pile (would have made a great photo, and a few Hurons. Anyone taking this trip with Greyhound Busses, a word of caution - Sudbury station is very sketchy, no coffee, dirty washrooms, vending machines only, and your in the middle of no where with homeless walking around. Keep an eye in your belongings at all times. Almost approaching Sault Ste Marie Ontario (where I was born). Ironic enough I haven't lived here since I was a toddler and now I'm back on my birthday. Kinda cool I think.

"About what you would expect from a roadside motel. Good service and good sized room. Drawbacks were no light at one corner of the room where the breakfast table was and the shower head is a bit low. Other than that were pretty happy with paying $210 for a 2 nights stay. Good Indian restaurant attached/part of the motel. Bring shampoo. "
