"We only stayed one night and did not get the chance to enjoy all that the hotel has to offer, but very much enjoyed our stay. The staff at reception at check in, check out and when we asked for some help about getting to our evening activity were all great. Very helpful, happy and friendly. They spoke very good English too, which was very helpful as our Japanese is limited to the very basic, polite phrases.
While we didn’t have a chance to use it, we had a look at the lounge, at and it had great views (and free coffee machine). Also free coffee machine in the foyer for guest use.
Close to station, so very easy to get around. Also easy to find. Morning market only a block away too. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we came back to Hakodate. Special thanks to the staff for being so welcoming."
"I've seen some reviews saying the property is dated and honestly you're worried about the wrong things if you're worried about decor. Property was clean, washrooms were modern, and they had all the amenities I'd expect. Staff were very helpful and kind and breakfast was amazing, and is complimentary as part of the stay. Location is also great, right next to Hakodate market and just a few minutes walk from Hakodate station. The value was amazing, and I'd happily stay here again the next time I'm in Hakodate."
"As with other OMO hotels this place is very nice. Conveniently located to the JR station and some great restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and the room is well laid out and spacious. The onsen and 2F common space is lovely! Unfortunately, contrary to most other hotels in Japan, OMO does not provide any coffee for the room. It is a small issue but an inconvenience to go out and buy coffee."
"Free soft serve ice cream and wonderful breakfast buffet with rice and fresh fish. Rooms were very spacious for Japan and comfortable. Staff very helpful and nice lounge area to relax in.
A little far away from the train station but can get there with a 20 minute bus ride."
"I cannot say enough about this lovely and place. The staff is very friendly. We had an early train and we had to leave before breakfast- they made onigiri for us to take on the train. Magic !!"
