Maulbronn is most famous for it’s monastery founded in 1147, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but it was the town itself that captivated me. The well-preserved medieval town looks like something out of a story book! It's worth a visit if you're in the Stuttgart area.

"This place is a complete disaster. The confirmation email listed a different address than the actual location, and the phone number provided was also incorrect. After a long and frustrating effort to finally track down the real address, I was met with an unhelpful and dismissive attitude, as if it were my fault for not being able to find the place. It genuinely feels as though they do not want people to visit."

"Rooms are in a second level and stairs are outside the house exposed to elements. Not for elderly people o persons with limited mobility. Breakfast was very good and complete but again not in the property. You have to walk about 5 minutes in a steeply way. Parking is available in the hotel area.
