"This was our first visit. The location is ideal, and the main building and gardens are beautiful. Staff are welcoming when you arrive, particularly the concierge who couldn't do enough to make sure everything was right with our accommodation. We stayed in the Garden Cottage which was quaint and roomy with a comfortable bed. Food in the restaurant was excellent and the service from Daniela, the Restaurant Manager, and her team was impeccable - very attentive but not intrusive. The one thing that would improve the dining experience would be soft background music at dinner, so that diners don't feel We really enjoyed the spa facilities, particularly the large swimming pool which is big enough to swim laps."
