「Our room was both spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was right outside the door. The buffet breakfast offering was delicious and plentiful. All in all a very pleasant stay!」

「Pros: Beautiful historic mansion, including shared lounges downstairs and on landing. Whisper quiet. Excellent bathroom (but cold floor in winter). Yale lock on door. Lovely park grounds and views. Good food and local wines in restaurant. Couple of minutes drive to town centre. Cons: Was overpriced unless you’re a golfer or lover of history. Checking in was confusing and involved a bit of to and fro in the complex, especially when desk is unattended. 」

「We had a great stay. A couple of minor things - the grey pot and sandstone urn pot made parking difficult and being tall I ran into the lower branches of the tree near the car park.」
