"Brought my teenage son to Gilford for DMB and we stayed at this hotel as it's walking distance to Bank of NH Pavilion. We had a 1 bdrm suite which was very spacious. Full kitchen with dining room table, pull out couch in living room. We left some DMB posters in the room when we checked out, I was sure they had dissappeared forever. I called the front desk and the manager was so accomodating. She tracked the posters down with house keeping and sent them back to me via USPS. Would definitely stay again!"
"A beautiful newer built home with a great outdoor area! The perfect place to call home while leaf peeping in NH. We spent most days on the road but when we returned in the evening, the neighborhood was quiet and welcoming. The kitchen was generously stocked with supplies and then some. Very spacious and comfortable living areas. Our host, Richie was friendly and quick to respond to our questions. The only suggestions we have would be to add a second nightstand next to the bed in the basement bedroom, an automatic flood light out front for evening returns, and instructions for the fireplace. The home is in a great location on the outskirts of the tourist hot spots (the first week in Oct.) with about a two hr drive to white mountain and plenty of leisure exploring and beautiful sceneries on the way. Gilford is a quaint town with a relaxing vibe and friendly locals. The local grocery store had premade meals and desserts in addition to many common food items and supplies. There is no shortage of beer and wine stores in NH. A must try for a delicous steak is Tuckerman's Restaurant & Tavern about 1.5 North nearby to Bartlett. Thank you, Richie, for offering us a beautiful and safe place to stay while we made great memories leaf peeping!"
"We had a really nice stay this weekend. Enjoyed a show at the Pavilion and got some hiking in as well as a trip to Weir beach. Great location for all of these activities! Comfy cabin with everything you would need. "
