「Loved the renovation of a classic motel and its great finishing details. Balcony and outdoor areas were a plus. Staff were friendly and helpful. Over Yonder restaurant and bar were delicious. Staff recommended Sunrise Grill for breakfast which was also very good. 」

「This is the second time staying at the property and we love it! It’s close to downtown and walkable to everything. Love sitting outside the room and just watching everything. The room is always clean and quiet. Love the soaking tub in the upstairs bathroom. 」

「The high ratings on most travel sites for the Embers are well deserved. We found the hotel to be very clean. Ben and Thomas at the front desk were both very courteous and helpful. The only negative was jackhammering in the middle of one night by the NC DOT. But that’s not the hotels fault of course. The restaurant on site is excellent as well as the service. Will be returning!」

「The receptionist was so nice and house keepers did great job. Room was so clean and comfy. We stay one night with my kids. The manager bring extra small bed for kids. Every one slept well at night!!!」
