「room was clean」

「The room was relatively clean. I noticed some flood damage in the bathroom. Our stay in the area revolved around visiting family and having a place to rest at night. We have stayed at a different Tennessee Americourt in Mountain City . They are similar. Essentially it is an adequate place to stay . Parking is no problem. Other patrons tended to smoke near the entrances causing a smoke smell to draw into the building. Pets are allowed, we don’t bring pets but fortunately the pets were quiet but...

「Booking was effortless through Expedia. We were greeted at the door by Pat, the owner. He gave us a quick tour and set a combo code to the front door of the house of our choosing. 「I very rarely leave a less than stellar review when I am traveling but I was not impressed by this hotel or its staff. Apparently they checked me in to the wrong room. We checked in after 10pm so the moment we got in to the room we showered, brushed teeth and climbed in to bed. The front desk called up and told is we were in the wrong room and acted like it was my issue to solve. They also expected us to pack up our stuff and change rooms to the correct one. 「The first room we were given was filthy from the beds to the floor. The beds had soiled linens on both! From top to bottom. The carpet was disgusting and had not been vacuumed as there were crumbs all over. Including a whole cookie inside ( in visible sight) the air conditioning unit.The clerk that checked us in was Awesome!
