"When we arrived the whole apartment smelled of sewer, like there hadn’t been anyone in several weeks. After a few hours of running water intermittently and opening the window we could get the smell out. There was both a dishwasher and a washing machine but nowhere to hang wet clothes to dry. "I am 80 years old with considerable experience of hotels and taking all aspects into account this excellent hotel is one of the very best. Taking account of value, it is the very best. This is an amazingly well designed conversion from a traditional warehouse overlooking the river to a superb hotel with modern lift and very excellent breakfast. Easy walking distance to the City Centre. With the best staff you could imagine. I shall return."

"We had a very pleasant stay at Apartamenty Chleb i Wino. The location is excellent, right in the center and just steps from the main square, which made it very convenient for exploring the city. The service was effortless from start to finish, and the staff were friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. Breakfast was also very good. The only downside was the noise. We could clearly hear people walking on the staircase, and at times there was quite a bit of noise from the restaurant downstairs, particularly when trash was being taken out. Also, after checkout there wasn’t really a secure place to leave our luggage, which is something we would normally expect to have available at a hotel. Overall, though, we really enjoyed our stay. The wonderful location, helpful staff, and easy experience made it a very good choice for our visit."

"The hotel is in a prime position 7 minutes walk from the train station and about the same for the medieval city. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was very delicious with a large variety for breakfast and a good selection for dinner. The hotel was spotless with the staff very attentive to its cleanliness. There is a large carpark at the rear of the hotel available on request. The bedrooms were spacious and very clean, we had a fabulous time and we will definitely return in the future."
