"If you are booking this hotel solely for the location, you won’t be disappointed—it sits right on beautiful Lapad Bay. The staff are also absolute gems; everyone we encountered was super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The cleaning staff, in particular, deserve a medal. They work incredibly hard to keep the linen, towels, and rooms as clean as humanly possible, but they are fighting a losing battle. You simply cannot clean "old." The carpets are heavily stained and need a complete replacement, and the showers are severely outdated and desperately need to be ripped out and replaced. The physical state of this property is completely run down and unmaintained. There is no lift, so be prepared for all stairs—depending on your room, you could potentially be hauling your heavy suitcases up six grueling flights of stairs with zero assistance. On a positive note, once you finally drag yourself to the room, the mattress is surprisingly comfortable, and the smart TV with working Netflix was a great touch for winding down in the evening. To the owners: stop relying entirely on your amazing location and hard-working staff to carry this business. You need to either knock this building down and rebuild, or shut it down for a massive modernisation. Pros: Fantastic Lapad Bay location, wonderfully friendly staff, comfortable bed, and great smart TV/Netflix. Cons: No lift (6 flights of stairs), stained carpets, outdated showers, entirely unmaintained."

"Very nice hotel, bed was super comfy. Only complaint. Our room was below the restaurant and therefore we had chairs dragging across the floor (our ceiling) in the mornings and evenings. Otherwise lovely."

"L'environnement est exceptionnel. Il s'agit d'un hôtel de villégiature avec plusieurs bâtiments et peu de chambres dans chaqu'un. Les chambres et la salle se bains sont très grandes et le balcon permet une vue sur la mer. C'est un endroit idéal pour se reposer avec une petite plage privée et une immense piscine. Le personnel est agréable et souriant. Le petit déjeuner est assez copieux. Le premier inconvénient est la distance avec la ville de Dubrovnik. L'autre inconvénient est qu'il faut monter plusieurs marches ce qui est difficile avec de lourdes valises. Malgré tout nous recommandons cet hôtel."

"The hotel itself is in a magnificent setting, set within the cliffs on a beautiful peninsula. A real architectural masterpiece with panoramic windows so you get amazing views. The breakfasts were fantastic. Such a large choice. We did opt for half board but found the evening options no where near as good as the breakfasts so we ate out instead. However don’t let that put you off as they also have a steak house and another nice restaurant, not just the buffet style one. The spa is nice. I had a treatment and the massage was fantastic. The indoor pool is salt water. Cold even though they said it was heated but it was refreshing all the same. The room we stayed in overlooked the sea at the back of the hotel. Tastefully furnished with a nice little balcony to sit and watch the waves - very relaxing. One of the best features in my opinion was the buggy service down to Cavtat and back to the hotel. It’s either a steepish meandering bank or over 100 steps so this was ideal for those who have mobile issues or anyone who just couldn’t be bothered to walk. Free service too. Fantastic. The staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. Entertainment was just a piano bar but that didn’t bother us as we like to venture out on an evening. All in all a lovely stay in a very nice hotel"

"The check-in Desk and Concierge were extremely helpful and very pleasant. The room was super clean and we had all the amenities that we would want. The location is perfect as you could walk to downtown and enjoy the many restaurants and shops. It was one of our favorite places."
