「It states 1 min from the beach. This is false! The complex beach club house is, but not the apartment where you stay.
It is a 10-15 min walk. The whole point of us booking this stay was because it was on the beach. We had our pregnant daughter with us and didn’t want her to have to walk far in the heat. Very disappointed at the misleading information given.
We have always trusted Hotel.com and use them all the time. A valuable lesson was learned.

The view was awesome and loved that the property was on the bottom floor and still had a perfect view of the ocean it made accessing the property convenient after a ling fay if exploring and made getting the luggage to and from the vehicle easy. Property owner was responsive and emailed us back quickly when we had questions or needed support. 」
「Our stay was excellent! The condo was prepared for our arrival and well equipped. The view looking out at the pool was amazing. It is a short distance to a grocery store, restaurants and town. The only issue we had was they were doing repairs to the stucco and the crews were loud outside our bedroom at 7 AM. All in all it is a very nice, safe place to stay!」
「The apartment was great. Very spacious, nice beds and furniture. Great ocean view and beautiful balcony. The air conditioner works perfectly. The bathrooms in each room all had nice showers and the master bathroom had a jacuzzi. Also, Jobo is one of the closest buildings to the beach club, which is very convenient. We really enjoyed our stayed and hope to be back soon!」

"We’ve payed around 5000 dollars to enjoy 3 days and 2 nights, considering that we were star class, the check-in process was fine, they explained us our benefits, etc… During this period of time, the food was awful. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner is this So Cal Buffet, and the quality of the food was horrible. The food was cold, cheap, disgusting and even hard to even look at or swallow. The people next to the table even called the food ‘’ass’’. And I totally agree. The lunch menu was fine, totally what one could expect but still it was horrible. The dinner menu was very delectable, especially the traditional Costa Rican menu, the soup was delicious and it was a great meal. But don’t get me started on the staff at the buffet, the receptionist was really friendly, the waitresses too, they did their duties greatly. Some of the cooks had a bad attitude, they were dry, rude, serious. We were trying to reserve the sushi restaurant for a whole entire day, we tried to contact staff to help us reserve but they always told us that we needed to talk with the woman there. Still she was never there, we arrive there when she was supposed to be there and she still wasn’t there. When we arrived to the sushi restaurant, the food was salty and very hard to swallow. The customer service was awful in some parts of the hotel, some were nice but some weren’t even welcoming. This all-inclusive hotel isn’t worth coming from, we would never come back here ever again!"
"This hotel deserves zero stars if that were an option. It was a terrible experience, and here’s why:
1. Outdated Facilities: The roof appears to have been neglected for years, and the overall condition of the facilities is poor.
2. Worn-out Bedding: The bed linens were old and tattered, making for an uncomfortable sleep.
3. Unpleasant Odor: The room smelled damp and musty, reminiscent of an old, poorly ventilated house.
4. No Umbrellas Provided: On a rainy night, the so-called resort had no umbrellas available for guests.
5. Inedible Food: The quality of the food was extremely poor.
6. No Water Without Warning: There was a water outage during the night without any prior notice or warning. The room had no phone, so I had to run to the front desk in the pouring rain, only to find no staff present. This resulted in not being able to shower in the hot weather and could not use tolit until the following day.
7. Incorrect Wi-Fi Password: The Wi-Fi password provided at check-in was incorrect. We had to make a second trip to the front desk to be told it was a printing error.
The most unacceptable part was the unannounced water outage. At 11 p.m., I attempted to take a shower, only to find there was no water—neither for bathing nor for the toilet. I went to the front desk, which was completely unmanned. The next day, when I brought up the issue with staff, one person claimed the water was only off for 10 minutes, and another, after consulting the manager, said it was 30 minute"
